He was predeceased by: his parents, John Newel and Elaine Hatfield. He is survived by: his wife Yong Newel; his daughters, Jennifer Newel, Angela Richey and Michelle Newel; his grandchildren, Madison Newel, Shane Richey, Jayden Newel and Bryce Newel; and his siblings, Christine, Jesse and Richie.
