With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Gerhart Franke Jr. of Copperas Cove, Texas, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry G. Franke and Marie Anna Franke; his wife Gisela Morgenthaler; his half-brother Richard Lockhart; his brother Gene Franke; and also Herbert Morgenthaler.
He is survived by: his children, Henry III, Ronald (Annette) and Thomas; his granddaughters, Jennifer Rutledge (Jonathan) and Christina Bell (Codey); and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Grace, Caleb, Cooper, Quinn, Maggie and Lincoln.
