She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Luellen Smith and Pearl Alexander Demic; her husband Howard Russell Gibson; and her siblings, Robert Leroy, Pearl Jr., William Perry Demic, James Demic, George Samuel Demic, Mary Berthia Cole and Sarah Reese.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Marie Luellen (Harold), Julia Anita (Samuel), Howard Russell Jr. (Tabitha) and Bertha Marietta; and her grandchildren, Tracie, Justin, Russell, Melissa, Nathaniel, Natalie and Joshua.
