It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy James Summers (Copperas Cove, Texas), born in Gorman, Texas, who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Summers and Jake Summers of Comanche County. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Summers; and his children, Amy Summers-Cantu, James (Scooter) and Scott. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an Alzheimer's research group of the donor's choice.
