She was predeceased by: her daughter Francis Byrd; and her grandson Donald Byrd Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Thedore Gibson Sr.; and her son Thedore Gibson Jr. (Jason Backe). She is also survived by nieces, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crawford Bowers Funeral Home (1615 S Fort Hood St, Killeen, TX 76542). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM and at 3:00 PM.
