He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell and Buster; his former wife Judy Copeland; his daughter Sheila Copeland; his stepdaughter Amy Knox; his great grandchild Braxton Kuykendall; and his siblings, Paul Copeland, Emma Ruth "Jo" Bailon and Edith Lowry.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Copeland; his sons, Arthur Louis "Buddy" Copeland, Jr. (Lupe), Michael Copeland (Georgia) and Danny Copeland; and his brothers, Charles (Nadine) and Ray Copeland. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
