It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anita Dean of Copperas Cove, Texas, born in Vinita, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Nelson and Elizabeth Scuggins Nelson; her husband Bobby Dean; her son Steve Dean; and her sister Marjorie Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Dean (Tammy) of Copperas Cove, Doug Dean of Waco and Damon Dean of Gatesville; her siblings, Christine Mann of Bartlesville, OK and Sam Nelson (June) of Kellyville, OK; and her grandchildren, Dustin Dean, Alexis Dean, Jennifer Hazlett, Taryn Dean, Todd Dean, John David Dean, Bobby Dean and Joseph Dean. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; and numerous, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has designated the American Cancer Society for memorials.
