He is survived by: his parents, Kathleen Roach and Robert Roach; his daughters, Elizabeth Roach and Emily Westhoff (Clove); his wife Leigh Roach; his children, Mason Roach and Mary Roach; and his siblings, Melodie Shelton, Mindy Clark, Robbie Roach and Scott Roach.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Genesis Women's Shelter or North Texas food bank, which are organizations that Matthew actively supported.
