He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Arnold (Dick) and Betty Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Arnold; his children, Wesley (Catherine), Monroe and Addison; his granddaughters, Sky and Isabelle; and his sister Rebecca Forsyth (Elliot).

The family asks that memorial donations be made in Jim's name to The American Cancer Society.
