He was predeceased by: his parents, Addine Hilley Brockschmidt and Henry C. Brockschmidt; and his sister Erma Brockschmidt Krutilek. He is survived by: his wife Alice Fay Smith; his daughter Phyllis Brockschmidt Ethridge (Randy Ethridge); and his grandsons, Brock Ethridge and Brant Ethridge.
