It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Leonard Maurer (Coppell, Texas), who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Maurer and Helen Maurer (Zizan); his wife Linda Marie Maurer (Fonzi); and his siblings-in-law, Bertha LaRocca, Evelino LaRocca and Pete Omodio.

He is survived by: his children, Tony (Katy), Edward II (Nancy) and Tami Maurer; his brothers, Ronald (Linda) and Randall (Gwen Hartnet); his sister-in-law Lena Omodio; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie, Eddie and Megan.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Christus St. Joseph Village Catholic Church (1201 E Sandy Lake Rd, Coppell, TX 75019). A Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent Basilica (300 Fraser Purchase Rd, Latrobe, PA 15650).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carmelite Monastery, 5206 Center Drive, Latrobe, PA, 15650.
