He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Braswell (Wall) and Robert Braswell; his brother Ronald; his sister-in-law Elsie Braswell; and his brother Larry Braswell.

He is survived by: his wife Gwen Braswell of Coppell, Texas; his son Kely Braswell (Jennifer) of Waco, Texas; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Maddy, Emma, Caden, Elli and Coulter Braswell of Waco, Texas; his son Casey Braswell (Stephanie) of Carrollton, Texas; his grandson Cody Braswell (Elizabeth Pickett) of Garland; his great grandchild Charlie Braswell of Garland, Texas; his daughter Kenda Havey (Chris) of Frisco, Texas; and his granddaughter Ashley Havey of Frisco, Texas.
