He was predeceased by: his parents, Limkheang and Samnang. He is survived by: his wife Kounthak; his children, Jessie (Rangsey), Latoya and Kimhab; and also, Darasy, Nimol, Connie, Sovann and Dany.

Beyond his family, Chann generously supported charities, regularly donating blood and contributing to children's hospitals, leaving a positive mark on the community.
