He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Cleveland and Lucille Neilson Ratliff; his wife Louise Elizabeth Rector of Sulphur Springs, Texas.; his sons, Samuel Bradley Ratliff (Sally) of Conroe and James Carver Ratliff (Ellen) of Willis; his grandson James Daniel Ratliff (Michelle) of Spring; his great grandchildren, Abigail Anne Ratliff, James Daniel Ratliff, Jr. and Joseph Bradley Ratliff of Spring, Texas.; and his daughter-in-law Gail Pankrantz Ratliff.
