It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Meyer Hadaway of Cooper, Texas, who passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Flossie Ridgeway Hadaway and D. Hadaway; his grandparents, Estelee Hadaway, Lucy, Leonard Hadaway, Racha and Annie Ridgeway; and his brother Larry Hadaway.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Wood; his son Jeff (Tracey) of Dallas; his siblings, Vernon (Pat) of Mesquite, Jerry (Elaine) of Heath and Debbie Hadaway of Mesquite; his grandchildren, Brittany Batzlaff (Jon), Megan Carroll (John) of Plano and Michael Ortiz (Bretta); his great grandchildren, Gunnar, Addison and Emma; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Little of Cooper, Geneva Voetter of Houston and Denise Deel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
