He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lemuel Sampson and Ruby "Huffer" Sampson; his wife Susie Sampson of Cooper; and his children, Kirk Sampson (Becky) of Cooper, Renee McGraw (Jimmie) of Sulphur Springs, Ruby Diane Bosscher (Larry) of Cooper and Penny Rebecca Sampson of Cooper. He was also cherished by 20 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren.
