She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Abston and Medie Bell Abston (Jaco); her brother Billy Abston (JoAnn); her daughter Cathy Smith; her grandson Jason Owens; her great great grandchild Ayden Duckworth; and her niece Cristy Lemon.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Robinson, Denny M. Vaughn, Nancy Stephenson (Walter) and Audrey Vaughn; and her sister Glenda Lemon (Claud). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, fifteen great- great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Delta Funeral Home (451 SW 1st St, Cooper, TX 75432). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
