He was predeceased by: his parents, John Owen and Mamie Owen (Blake); his wife Juanita Owen; and his siblings, Jack Owen, Tiny Owen, Billy Owen, Roy Owen and Mary Owen.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Owen (Pam) of Cooper, Cathy Weets of Cooper and Lisa Belcher (David) of Commerce, Texas.; his grandchildren, David Owen (Ciji), Londyn, Lincoln of Charleston, Emmalyn, Jill Crowell (Cooper), Kinsley, Caroline and Charlotte of Waxahachie; his great grandchildren, Dylan Owen of Cooper, Katie Byrd (Matt), Hannah, Micah, Judah of China Spring, Kristi Caron (Joel) of Arlington, Brittany Belcher, Dylan Bushnell, Kingston, Kennedie Rodgers of Fate, Michelle Stroud, Memphis of Sulphur Springs and Megan Belcher of Greenville, Texas.; and his sister Helen McFadden of Rockwall.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church missions, Delta County Library or Liberty Grove Cemetery.
