He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Smyth of Cookville, Texas and Leland; his daughter-in-law Tia Smyth of Mount Pleasant, Texas; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Steve MacLachlan of Watford; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Smyth, Morgan MacLachlan, Tristan MacLachlan, Harley Smyth, Daesyn Smyth, Emma Broderson, Addison Wolfe and Carter Wolfe; his great grandchildren, Hudson Kirschner and Alarah Kirschner; his siblings, Gary Smyth of Palestine, Texas, Brenda St. Clair of Fort Worth and Shirley Alley of Lubbock, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Sidney, Dorothy Landrum of Granbury, Texas and Kathleen McCauley of Raleigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews, great-nieces/nephews, and great-great nieces/nephews, former co-workers, and friends.
