He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Almon Burleson, Sr. and Vera Estell Lawson Burleson; his son Johnny Burleson; and his siblings, Louis Burleson, Bill Burleson, Johnny Burleson, Dean Burleson and Lillian Winans.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Hill Burleson; his sons, Bart Burleson and Jerry Burleson; his daughter-in-law Linda Burleson; his grandchildren, Chris Burleson (Jessica), Heather Burleson and Hayley Young (Dewayne); and his sister Patsy Herndon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
