He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Justo Herrera, Sr. and Julia Delgado Cintron Herrera; his wife Anita Herrera (Lugo); his siblings, Lydia, Ramon, Milagros and Carmelo; his children, Justo "Pete" (Cindy), Orlando (Lesley), Hector (Aubry), Marisol Herrera Garcia (Albert) and Jose "Che"; his grandchildren, Jay, Tomas (Mae), Alex, Ian (Paige), Zachary (Cassie), Nicholas, Bailey (Gabriel), Cooper, Tyler (Ashley), Jacob (Laurin), Dylan, Rebekah, Anthony (Brianna) and Iris; and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Logan, Westley, Ziggy Blue, Leah Mae, Mason, Piper and Ethan. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
