She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Renteria and Miguel Hernandez. She is survived by: her husband Martin Kotanan (Waikiki Beach); her daughters, Sharon Kotanan (Pedro) and Claudia Keyes (Zach); and her grandchildren, Marley, Avery, Eden and Torin.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens can be made in remembrance of Irma.
