He is survived by: his wife Sylvia C. Villarreal; his children, Corina M. Benavides, Maxine I. Villarreal and Alberto J. Villarreal; his children-in-law, Natalie Villarreal and J. R. Benavides; his grandchildren, Joel R., Joseph R. Benavides and Jakob Ramirez; and his siblings, Oscar, Homer Villarreal, Nora Vela and Irma Wakim. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
