We bid farewell to Geneva Lucile Hughes of Converse, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 18, 2024 at the age of 85. Geneva Lucile touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hughes and Orana Hughes; and her siblings, Charles, James Phillip Hughes, Sharon Hughes, Marilyn Hughes Hurt and Veronica Hughes Walker.
She is survived by: her friends, Eric Skinner, Ron Poland and Geneva; her daughters, Mary Montgomery Buckalew (Lee) and Anne Montgomery Cheek Morris; and her grandchildren, Andrew Cheek, Jacob Morris, Drake Morris, LeighAnna Buckalew, Marissa Buckalew, Jesse Buckalew and Larkyn Buckalew. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, 3 nephews, 5 nieces, and 2 cousins.
