He is survived by: his children, Wanda L. Perkins, Dr. Freedom F. Perkins, Jr. (Silvia) and Mike M. Perkins; his grandchild Jamie Perkins; and his brother Edward H. Perkins.
He was an extremely generous man and he regularly donated to the Food Bank.
