Nancy Fikes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Fikes of Conroe, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Fikes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Rush and Ray Rush; her husband Alvin Fikes Jr.; her son Nolan Fikes; and her siblings, Joann Harris, Linda Newton and Robert Rush (Bobby).
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Hamilton (Brett Hamilton); her daughter-in-law Kathy Fikes; her grandchildren, Nichole Jaimes (Pedro Jaimes), Nakina Roberts (Jarrett Roberts), Brandon Hamilton (Ashlee Hamilton) and Tonia Moore (Jeremy Moore); her great grandchildren, Kaelynna Fikes-Jaimes (Rodrigo Coronado), Amiyah Fikes-Jaimes, Araya Jaimes, Nolan Jaimes, Avelen Carol Jaimes, Esperanza Jaimes, Kaison Ray Roberts, Brooklyn Hamilton, London Hamilton, Kyler Griffith and Azlen Moore; and her grandchildren, Recie, Honey, Harper and Adelia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home (3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Waco Memorial Park (6623 I-35 N, Selma, TX 78154). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Meme's.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
