She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Platt and Alberta Platt (Chapman); her husband Don Hobart; her daughters, Debra Sue Hamilton and Donna Lynne Harden; and her brother Harry Platt.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Inez Platt; and also, Austin, Kayla Comte, Sydney, Nathan, Noah Hay, Caleb, Cooper, Kinley Murphy, McKenzie Howard, Bella, Tyler Fogg and Lisa Welch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
