She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariano Cantu and Gregoria Garcia Cantu; her husband Rafael Palacios Sr.; her siblings, Francisco, Valeriano Cantu, Enedina Fernandez and Elida Recio; and her siblings-in-law, Librado, Elvira Palacios, Estela P. Garcia, Robert P. Montoya, Gabriel Fernandez, Arnulfo, Raul and Arcadio Palacios.
She is survived by: her children, Rafael Palacios Jr., Rose Marie Hinojosa, Laura Ana Ramirez (Valentin), Linda McGonigle (Mike) and Mary Isabel Perez; her son-in-law Theodore "Ted" Hinojosa; her sister Carol Montoya; her siblings-in-law, Dalia Cantu, Barbara Cantu, Elvira Cantu (Corina) and Antonio Recio Sr.; her grandchildren, Valentin Ramirez III, Davey Joel Ramirez, Hilberto Palacios, Rogelio Ramirez III and Alberto Ted Hinojosa; her great grandchildren, Celeste Angelica Mesorana, Davey Joel Ramirez Jr., Ariannah Faith Cabrera, Olivia Grace Ramirez, Gavin Rafael Ramirez, Rafael Ignacio Palacios, Michael Antony Palacios, Christina Rose Palacios, Briella Jade Ramirez and Christopher Mason Hinojosa; and her close friends, Oralia Lozano, Belia Torres Morin, Celia Bazan-Martinez, Kathy Acosta and Ted McGee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
