With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Perry Calk of Comstock, Texas, who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ethel Calk (Brotherton) and J. P. Calk, Jr.; and his siblings, Jack Calk and Mary Nell "Bobbie" Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Editha Jo Calk (Russell); and his children, Philip Calk (Kathy) of Brackettville, Texas, Janna Calk of Del Rio, Texas, Clinton Calk (Tina) of Tipp City, Ohio and Rusty Calk (Pattie) of Lampasas, Texas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 nephews and a niece.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Baptist University of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas Baptist Men in Dallas, or West Texas Boys Ranch, San Angelo.
