He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Chapman and Thelma Beyers (Herrington); his wife Beverly Chapman; his daughter CarrieLee Tirrell; and his sisters, Penelope Sullivan and Marilyn Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, John Tirrell, Howard Tirrell, Alan Tirrell, Heidi Tirrell-McDonough, Michael A. Chapman, Deborah Chapman and Rebecca Tirrell; and his sister Louella Reynolds. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
