He is survived by: his mother Joyce Coker Woolverton Friddle of Como, TX; his wife Mary Woolverton of Como, TX; his children, David Woolverton Jr. of Como, TX and Amanda Ross (Robert Aaron) of Mathis, TX; his brother Terry Woolverton (Carolyn) of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, Allen Woolverton and Charlotte Ross.
