It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Ray Gosdin (Como, Texas), born in Hollis, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Gosdin and Thelma Gosdin; and his siblings, Maurice Gosdin, John Gosdin, James Gosdin and Geraldine Arrington.
He is survived by: his former wife Gertrude Herron; his friend Mary Jo Johnson Dobson; his wife Mary Jo Gosdin of Como; his children, Glenda Nordin of Sulphur Springs, Patty Gaston of Sulphur Springs, Brenda Tubb (Scott) of Sulphur Springs, Cathie Holden (Bill) of Sulphur Springs, Treesa McLeod, Debbie Jones of Como and Danny Dobson (Barbara) of Grand Cane, LA.; and his sisters, Joyce Mask of Gilmer, Shirley Rultledge of Paradise and Carolyn Dortch of Colleyville. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren.
