It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Messer of Como, Texas, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland C Graham and Eursie Graham (Mutchler); her husband Robert Ray "Bob" Messer; her daughter Janice Crist; and her siblings, Mary Cole and Paul Graham.
She is survived by: her son Robert Messer (Mary); her grandchildren, Anne Thompson, Billy Bob Messer (Amanda), John Crist and Joseph Crist (Jennifer); her sisters, Josephine Primrose, Alice Otero (Raul), Janice Gatlin and Charlotte Sweet; and her close friends, Whitney Tate (Robert) and Vicki Nelson (Mike). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Black Oak Cemetery.
