He was predeceased by: his parents, Omogene Hill and Ray Weatherford. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Weatherford; his children, Joy Michelle Howard (Mandel) and John Ray Weatherford (Gwen); his grandsons, Cameron Howard (Makayla), Mason Howard (Krystal) and John Weatherford II; and his great grandchild Hattie Elisia.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Commerce Funeral Home (1505 Washington St, Commerce, TX 75428).
