She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Harrod of Commerce, Frankie Hines of Monahans and David Ketner of Lone Oak; and her siblings, John Sands of Commerce, Lee "Scooter" Sands of New Boston, Jackie Sands of Emory and Judy Potts of Sulphur Springs. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
