“Miss Ora and Miss Vera were our neighbors until 2010. I am so thankful that both were strong role models for my 2 children. Miss Ora had a solid work ethic. She worked at the Nursing Home, then came home and cooked dinner, cared for her Mother, her daughter, and her grandson. On Mother's Day and Miss Vera's birthday there was celebration at 1404 Sycamore. So many came to honor her. We especially remember Miss Ora's enthusiasm during Cowboys games.
