She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hurtig and Verna Hurtig; her husband Paul Roosevelt; her sister Wanda Gilbertsen; and her daughter Sonja Pedersen.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Chase Pedersen (Joe), Kolt Pedersen (Casey), Dylan Pedersen (Devin), Abigail Duncan, Katherine Duncan, George Alexander Jr., Nick Stallings (Anna) and Alex Stallings (Katie); her great grandchildren, Kamden Pedersen, Avalie Pedersen and Jayce Pedersen; and her nephews, Robert Gilbertsen (Roxanne) and Jack Gilbertsen.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Commerce Public Library or your charity of choice.
