He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry John Chaloupka and Edna Chaloupka (Zwahr). He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Larry Chaloupka, Jr. (Rochelle) and Molly Chaloupka McRae (Kelly); his stepchildren, Gary Glenewinkel, Jr. and Myke Gregg (Guy); his brother Dennis (Pat); his grandchildren, Maggie Chaloupka, Elizabeth McRae, Ryan McRae, Gary "Trey" Glenewinkel, III and Trevor Gregg; and his close friend Keith Emmerson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church Commerce Senior Adult Ministry, 1401 Washington St., Commerce, TX 75428.
