He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Luckey and Ione Luckey; his wife Florine; his sons, Michael Luckey and James Earl Luckey; and his siblings, Bobbie Jean Wilson, Shirley Culpepper, Josie Luckey, Robert Luckey, Erwin Buck Luckey, Robert James Luckey and LaCharles Luckey.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Brown, Leonard Ray Luckey, Larry Charles Luckey (Sheila), Victor Luckey (Diane), William Paul Luckey and Sherman Luckey (Katherine); his brother John Earl Luckey (Minnie); and his sister-in-law Lorine Luckey. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Jones - Walker & Son Funeral Home (1209 Live Oak St, Commerce, TX 75428). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church (202 Champion Ln, Commerce, TX 75428).
