He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jo Lytle; his son Dr. Steve; his daughter-in-law Shelley Pirkey of Wylie, Texas; his grandchildren, Chase Pirkey (Sydney Herring), Kendyl Pirkey, Peyton Pirkey and Paige Pirkey; and his brothers, Joe (Katie) and Clay (Gretchen).
