She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. E. W. "Buck" Verner and Jewel Quinn Verner; her siblings, Harold Verner and Lavonne Wells; and her former husband Lyndle B. Richardson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cece Mitchell (Louis), Vicki Arnold (James) of La Mesa and Vonda Grider (Wendell) of Commerce. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
