She was predeceased by: her parents, William James and Leona Horner James; and her spouse E. L. Norris. She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Norris (Lisa), James Norris (Barbara) and Adam Norris (Rosa); her grandchildren, Andrea Norris, Nakeia Norris and Keenan Norris; and her siblings, Joyce Cummings (Royce), Hattie Laube (Bill), Betty Clayton, JoAnn Jenkins, Darrell James, Jessie James and Alfred James. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
