She was predeceased by: her brother SonnyBoy; her parents, Ollie Gray Davis Smithey and Joe Dee Smithey; her husband J. C. Currin; and her sister Jessie Faye Smithey Lambert.
She is survived by: her children, Nita Currin Rawlings (Phil), Joe Currin (Alicia), Jim Currin (Kevin Baab) and Jan Currin Stuart (Clint); her nephew Joe Lambert (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Andrew Rawlings, Brandi Crow Hall, Katie Rawlings Tillery, Megan Stuart Oakes, Rachel Currin Stewart, Jacob Stuart and Lucas Currin.
