She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leo Whitfield and Velma Earl Lindsey LaCuesta; her husband Peter Verchinski; her brother William "Bob" Whitfield; and her son-in-law Mark Sullivan.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charlotte May (Donnie), Rita Huth (George) and Rick LaCuesta (Della); her daughters, Gina Sullivan of Commerce, Stacy Hardy of Gulfport and Lisa McClendon of Grapevine; her son-in-law David McClendon; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Dixon (Tim), Amanda Devall (Jeffrey), Lindsey Bobo (Mike), Jourdan Sullivan, Shelton Sullivan, Macy Sims, Spencer Sullivan, Chase McClendon and Brendan McClendon; and her great grandchildren, Kaleigh Devall, Kamrynn Devall, Breauxly Devall, Isabella Dixon, Brody Dixon and Jax Bobo.
In lieu of flowers donations made be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
