He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley D. Kennedy and Hazel Odom Kennedy; his son Eric A Kennedy; his sisters, Christine K. Cooper and Geraldine K. Auvenshine; and his parents-in-law, F. O. Isham and Myrtie Isham (Hudson).
He is survived by: the mother of his children Bettie J. Kennedy; his daughter Tina L. Kennedy (James Crouch); his grandchildren, Tiffany L. Moreland and Richard Crouch; and his pet Elli. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
