She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Q. Colbath and Alice Mae Colbath (Alderman); her siblings, Juanita Crider, Lillian McMurtrey, Dorothy McCauley and Robert Colbath; her husband Robert Carson; and her son John Allen Carson.
She is survived by: her children, Robbie R. Carson (Pam), Shorry L. Carson and Roger Q. Carson; her daughter-in-law Erin Carson; her grandchildren, Chris Carson (April), Jennifer Card, Michael Carson (Kayla), Robert W. Carson, Kyle Carson and Karen Carson; and her great grandchildren, Daelyn Card, Brennan Card and Brett Card. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to Alzheimer's Association.
