She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Rangel and Martha Rangel; her husband Manuel J. Fuentes; her son David V. Fuentes; and her siblings, Juanita Jimenez, Susie Garcia, Patsy Rios, Juanita Leo, Lydia Rangel and Alex Rangel.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Trevino, Cindy Acevedo of San Antonio and Manuel Fuentes, Jr. of Washington, D. C.; and her sisters, Lucy Martinez, Martha Perales, Helen Aviles and Connie Guajardo.
