It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ignacio Melchor of Comfort, Texas, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcos Melchor and Rosalia Garcia Melchor; and his sister Julia Arizola. He is survived by: his wife Sista Gonzales of Comfort; his son Gilbert Roland Melchor (Delia Castillo); his grandson Zachary Ryan Melchor of San Antonio; his daughter Cecilia Marie Melchor of McKinney, Texas.; his brothers, Peter Perez (Velma) of San Antonio, Marcos Melchor of San Antonio and Mario Melchor (Virginia) of San Antonio; and his aunt Fidelia Ontiveros of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other relatives.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, no reception will follow. Gilbert's family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date after the pandemic subsides.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift in Gilbert's name to either the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice.
