With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Hamlyn of Comfort, Texas, who passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kurt Ehlers and Louise Ehlers (Biermann); her grandmother Ella; her husband Robert E Hamlyn; her siblings, Elizabeth Cotton and Rueben Ehlers; and her daughter Linda Chaison.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert C Hamlyn (Linda Hamlyn) and David Hamlyn (Jo Hamlyn); her sister Jean Kunz; her brother-in-law Dr. Sidney Kunz of Comfort; her son-in-law Robert Chaison of Temple, TX; her sister-in-law Ida Ehlers of Comfort, TX; her grandchildren, Michael Chaison (Christine Chaison) of Leander, TX, Mark Hamlyn (Hope Hamlyn) of Murphy, TX, Charles Hamlyn (D'Andra Hamlyn) of Wilson, TX, Brianna Hamlyn of Austin, TX and Cara Garrett (Joshua Garrett) of Pflugerville, TX; and her great grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth Chaison, Porter Hamlyn, Sydney and Hagen Hamlyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
