She was predeceased by: her husband Freeman Neal Johnson; her parents, Herbert Schmidt and Clara De; her siblings, Ruby Schmidt, Rudolph Schmidt (Alvina Schmidt), Evelyn Alloway (Allison) and Alfred Schmidt (Kittie); and her nieces, Hazel Storms and Anna Marie Schmidt Ramon.

She is survived by: her siblings, Herbert Schmidt, Clara De and Ny's Schmidt; her niece Shirley (Stanley Feller); her nephew George Schmidt; her great-niece Kathy Storms Carlos (Sonny); her son Rodney Storms (Diane); her nephews, Eddie Schmidt (Sharon) and Robert Schmidt; and also, Kenny Alloway, Mark Alloway and Al Alloway. She is also survived by 3 children.
